Enchanted Forest-Water Safari in Old Forge is the largest water theme park in New York State, and it is an exciting attraction both adults and children will love. Enchanted Forest features a huge variety of children’s as well as adult water rides, plus classic amusement rides and tons of other fun themed attractions.

Discover Storybook Lane

It is a delight to bring children to Enchanted Forest-Water Safari for the first time. As soon as you enter the Park, you are greeted with a gigantic, 19-foot tall, colorful statue of Paul Bunyan!

Inside the Park, there are more than 20 interactive, storybook attractions kids of all ages will delight in discovering as you wonder through a shaded park area. You’ll treasure the photographs you take of your child in Cinderella’s pumpkin coach, Hansel and Gretel’s Witch’s oven, and dozens of other child-size props.

Storybook Lane is just the start of the fun at Enchanted Forest. There is a special water park area just for kids, and even small kids will have plenty of opportunities for fun in the water. The Sawmill at the Adirondack Expedition is a 3-story water playground where you can have fun together with your kids. The Kids Car Wash is a water park-style, simulated car wash kids of all ages can enjoy.

Water Rides and Slides for all Ages

There are also tons of water slides and rides children over 36 and 42 inches can ride with you. The thrilling Amazon is an 1,100-foot tube ride through the jungle the whole family can ride together. Black River is a thrilling double-person tube slide kids over 42 inches can ride. Slide through darkness on this 500-foot ride, then splash into the light at the bottom! Serengeti Surf Hill is a towering water slide for adults and kids over 42 inches. Race down this 4-line slide head-first on your mat, and see who gets to the bottom first!

When kids and adults are ready to dry off and take a spin on some classic amusement rides, there are plenty to choose from at Enchanted Forest.
